The former PS5 exclusive is coming to PC and will soon be available in VR thanks to VR mods.
It’s one of Sony’s most addictive hardcore games: Returnal comes out in April 2021 and is one of the first Playstation 5 exclusives. On February 15, 2023, PC gamers will also be able to enjoy a hardcore fast-paced shooter – and that’s not all: VR mods announced right away after the release on PC.
Returns became famous when it launched on PS5, mainly due to its high difficulty. A third-person shooter challenges the player with a rogue system built into the time loop mechanic.

The main character Selena returns to the alien planet Atropos every time she dies on screen. All progress will be lost except for a few upgrades. The player only knows how to survive in randomly placed areas of the level.
I died a thousand times in my Returnal review (hint). However, my fascination with the amazing and mystical atmosphere of Atropos continues to this day. Sony’s exclusive development studio, Housemarque, has created an immersive and deadly game world reminiscent of the design and atmosphere of Ridley Scott’s Alien films.
PC gamers can immerse themselves in this world now, and soon Atropos can be explored using a virtual reality headset. Flat2VR modders have announced the returnal VR mod right after the PC release.
